Police are seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a 55-year-old missing man who was last seen outside the Royal Brisbane Hospital yesterday afternoon.
Brian Dempsey (pictured below) who resides in Acacia Ridge was last seen leaving the Royal Brisbane Hospital at 3:45pm yesterday afternoon (March 31).
Police believe Brian walked towards a bus stop but has not been seen or heard from since.
Police hold concerns for Brian's welfare as he is currently recovering from surgery.
He is described as Caucasian, about 193cm tall and currently has part of his hair shaved and a significant scar due to his recent surgery.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt, grey tracksuit pants, black thongs and carrying two
black backpacks.
If anyone has seen Brian or has any information on his whereabouts, they are urged to contact police.
