A search and rescue operation has commenced this afternoon to locate an 85-year-old man missing from Proston since this morning, January 14.
Noel Young, pictured, was last seen on a property on Okeden Road, at about 9:30am, and has not been seen or heard from since.
Police and family have serious concerns for Noel's welfare as he has a medical condition which requires medication.
Noel is believed to be last seen wearing a felt hat, black shorts and blue shirt.
Residents are urged to check their properties, structures, boats, cars, and trailers for signs of the Noel.
Anyone with information regarding Noel's whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
