Police Seek Help To Find Missing Woman At Sunrise Beach

Police are seeking urgent public assistance to locate an 88-year-old woman reported missing from Sunrise Beach.

Mary Rae was last seen at an address on Woodlark Rise around 6.50pm last night and has not been seen since.

Family and police are concerned for her welfare due to Mary's age. She also suffers from a medical condition which may cause disorientation.

Mary is described as Caucasian, approximately 150cm tall, with a small build, grey hair in pigtails and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing grey tracksuit pants, a lavender t-shirt and a grey jumper with flowers.

She is believed to be travelling on foot.

A search and rescue operation has commenced, with police conducting extensive patrols in the nearby Sunrise Beach and Noosa areas.

Local residents are urged to check their properties, sheds and structures.

Anyone with information regarding Mary's whereabouts is asked to contact police.
