Police Seek Help To Locate Driver After Blackwood Crash

Police are investigating a crash at Blackwood in the early hours of this morning.

About 1.45am today (Thursday 28 November), emergency services were called to Main Road after reports that a Volkswagen sedan had crashed into several buildings and a block of units.

The male driver and a male passenger fled the scene, leaving a female passenger in the vehicle.

No one inside the block of units was injured.

Patrols searched the area with the assistance of Police Dog Enzo but the two men were unable to be located.

The female passenger, a 23-year-old Christies Beach woman was not injured, but later arrested for disorderly behaviour and hindering police. She was bailed to appear in court at a later date.

Enquiries continue to identify and locate the driver and other passenger.
