Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Lawrence.
The 75-year-old was last seen on Spencer Street in Melbourne's CBD on the evening of Christmas Day.
Lawrence is from Queensland and visiting family in the Frankston area over Christmas.
He is described as being 185cm tall with short grey balding hair and a medium build.
He was last seen wearing black trousers, a dark coloured polo shirt, a blue jacket with yellow stripes on the sleeves, a black hat, a bum bag and may be carrying a black suitcase.
Police and family have concerns for Lawrence's welfare due to his age and a medical condition.
Lawrence may be confused and unfamiliar with his surroundings.
Investigators have released an image of Lawrence in the hope someone can provide information on his current whereabouts.
