Ringwood police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Ringwood man Vinn.
The 25-year-old was last seen at the intersection of Warrandyte Road and Maroondah Highway and was heading towards Ringwood Lake when he was separated from his carer about 10.45am.
Vinn, who has autism, is known to wander and police and his family have concerns for his welfare.
He was last seen wearing a bright orange 'Dragon Ball Z' hoodie with Chinese character on the back, black Adidas track pants and black runners with white sole, and a grey cap.
He is described as Asian in appearance with a solid build and short black hair.
Police have released an image of Vinn in the hope someone recognises him.
