Police Seek Infant Believed in Illawarra Area

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an infant believed to be in the Illawarra region.

River Tille, aged seven months, was seen the Warrawong area last December 2024. He has not been sighted by authorities since then.

When the child could not be located today (Thursday 9 January 2025), officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold serious concerns for River's well-being due to his age.

River is an infant described as being of Caucasian appearance with a fair complexion, little fair hair, eye colour unknown, and it's unknown what he is wearing.

He is with a 43-year-old woman described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a fair complexion, thin build, about 165cm tall, dyed orange hair which is shaved on the right side and long on the left, and brown eyes. It is unknown what she is wearing.
