Police Seek Info After Albury Stabbing

Police are appealing for public information following a stabbing in the State's south, earlier this year.

In July 2024, Strike Force Uibque was established following a stabbing in Albury.

About 1pm on Monday 8 July 2024, police were called to Lindsay Avenue, Albury following reports a man had been stabbed.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 31-year-old man at the scene for stab wounds to his leg and back, before he was taken to Albury Base Hospital for treatment. The injuries were not life threatening.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District responded and established a crime scene and an investigation commenced.

Police believe this was a targeted attack and the men were known to each other.

Police are seeking the public's help to identify four males allegedly involved who fled the scene in a grey Cupra Ateca.
