Police Seek Info on Unconscious Woman in Katherine 31 December

Northern Territory Police are continuing to call for information after a woman was knocked unconscious while jogging near Nitmiluk Gorge on Friday evening.

The 28-year-old woman was jogging between Nitmiluk and Gorge Road, Katherine about 6:00pm, when she suffered injuries causing her to become unconscious.

Detectives from the Katherine Criminal Investigations Branch have not eliminated the possibility that the woman was struck by a passing motor vehicle.

Police are urging people, particularly if you were driving, who were in the area of Gorge Road and Nitmiluk between 4:00pm and 8:00pm on the 27 December to contact police on 131 444 and quote reference NTP2400132309.
