Police seek information after aggravated robbery at Byrock

Police are appealing for public assistance following an alleged aggravated robbery in the state's north west last year.

About 1.20pm on Friday 3 January 2020, officers attached to Central North Police District were called to a remote property in Byrock, about 110km south of Bourke, after reports of an aggravated robbery.

Police attended and located a 75-year-old man with serious injuries tied to a chair.

The man was treated at hospital for his injuries and has since recovered.

Police were told the man had been assaulted by three men, who stole a number of items before fleeing the location.

The men were described as being of Mediterranean / Middle Eastern appearance.

Detectives subsequently established Strike Force Kinilibah to investigate the incident.

As part of ongoing inquires, strike force investigators have released images of a Blue Toyota Arion, which they believe the men travelled in and are appealing for public assistance to help identify and locate them.

Investigations under Strike Force Kinilibah are continuing.
