Police seek information after aggravated break-in near Tamworth

Police are appealing for public assistance following an aggravated break-in in the state's north east at the weekend.

Between 10pm on Friday and 4.30am on Saturday (14 November 2020), unknown persons gained entry to a home on Nundle Road, Piallamore – approximately 15km south-east of Tamworth.

Police have been told a wallet and car keys were stolen from inside the home, before a Toyota Landcruiser utility - parked at the residence - was stolen.

The occupants were home at the time and were uninjured.

Officers attached to Oxley Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
