Police Seek Information After Armed Robbery At Moree 14 November

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a business in the state's north west overnight.

About 1:45am today (Thursday 14 November 2024), police were called to a service station on Blueberry Road, Moree, following reports of an armed robbery.

Officers attached to New England Police District attended and were told an unknown male - armed with a firearm and wearing all black, with his face covered – entered a business and threatened two employees – a 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man.

The man demanded money, before running from the scene with cash.

No one was physically injured in the incident.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, police are appealing for information to identify an unknown male.

He is described as being approximately 180cm tall, medium build, wearing all black.

He was seen running from the scene towards the Newell Highway.
