Police Seek Information After Brawl - Bateau Bay

Police are appealing for public assistance for information following a brawl at a shopping centre on the Central Coast.

About 7pm yesterday (Thursday 11 July 2024), police were called to a shopping centre in Bay Village Road, Bateau Bay, following reports of a group of young people brawling in a food court.

Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District arrived to find the group had dispersed.

No injuries were reported, and police seized a hammer, believed to have been used in the brawl, for forensic examination.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
