Officers from Swan Hill Highway Patrol are seeking information into the final movements of Shubir Bakhori.
The 46-year-old was involved in an incident on the Murray Valley Highway, near New Britain Road in Robinvale, about 9.15am on Friday 28 July.
There are no charges pending from this incident.
Shubir was taken to hospital on the day of the incident but died on 4 August.
As part of their investigation for the Coroner, investigators are calling on the local community to supply further information about Shubir including his last known address, friends and colleagues or any other information which may assist in the investigation.
