Police Seek Information After House Fire On South Coast

Police are appealing for information after a house fire on the state's South Coast earlier this year.

Emergency services were called to Kardella Avenue, Worrigee, following reports a home was engulfed in flames about 2am on Wednesday 31 July 2024.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended and found the home well alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW crews extinguished the blaze.

NSW Ambulance paramedics assessed a 70-year-old man at the property. He was not injured.

Police established a crime scene and commenced Strike Force Harthill to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire.

Police are treating the fire as suspicious.
