Police Seek Information After Suspicious Fire - Bondi

Police are appealing for information following a suspicious fire at Bondi today.

About 4.10am today (Sunday 20 October 2024), emergency services were called to a building on Curlewis Street, Bondi, following reports of a fire.

Officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended and found a business, located on the ground floor of the building, well alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW crews attended and extinguished the blaze.

Residents were evacuated from the building. No injuries were reported.

Police established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time or has any information or footage to contact Eastern Suburbs Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
