Police Seek Information: Armed Robbery, Sunnybank

Police are investigating an armed robbery outside an address in Sunnybank on Sunday, June 30.

At approximately 7.30pm, man in his 30s was standing near his vehicle that was parked on Becker Street, when another vehicle approached with a group of people inside.

One man, armed with a knife, exited the car and threatened the victim, before physically assaulting him.

Another man then exited the vehicle and stole the man's personal belongings.

Following this, a passing witness stopped in a vehicle and interrupted the group, who then fled the scene.

Police responded and patrols were conducted, but the offenders could not be located.

The man received minor injuries during the incident.
