Police Seek Information: Assault, Broadbeach

Police are appealing for information as they investigate an assault in Broadbeach around 1.30pm yesterday afternoon, July 22.

Emergency services were initially called to Hedges Avenue, following reports a boy had been assaulted and his e-bike damaged.

Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old Clear Island Waters boy who had sustained minor injuries, and was treated by paramedics at the scene.

A 26-year-old Elanora woman was arrested a short time later and is assisting police with their enquires.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and if there may be more persons involved, and are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with footage of the area, including dashcam and CCTV, to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
