Police Seek Information: Assault, Kelvin Grove

Police have release vision of a man who may be able to assist with investigations following an assault in Kelvin Grove last week.

Initial investigations indicate around 12:30am on Tuesday December 10, a woman was walking along Blamey Street when she was approached by a man.

The man grabbed the woman and sexually assaulted her before fleeing the scene on foot.

The man is described as having a solid build, dark complexion, and dark coloured hair, wearing a white shirt, black shorts and crocs.

Detectives are appealing for the man or anyone with footage of the area around Musk Avenue, Kelvin Grove Road and Blamey Street, to come forward.

Police received an anonymous report at 11:49pm, of a man behaving suspiciously in the Kelvin Grove area earlier that night, Monday December 9, and are appealing for that person to contact investigators with further information.

Police believe these incidents may be linked.

Investigations are continuing.
