Police Seek Information: Attempted Arson, Sherwood

Police have released an image of a vehicle and two men who may be able to assist with their investigations into an attempted arson at Sherwood this morning, on December 6.

Initial investigations indicate that around 5am, two men, driving a silver Golf R with stolen plates 407BQ4, stopped at a cosmetic business on Sherwood Road.

One of the men then used a brick to smash the window of the business, and both then attempted to light a Molotov cocktail.

Their attempt was unsuccessful as they left the scene after seeing a man approaching on a pushbike.

One man was last seen wearing a high-vis jacket, black pants and grey sneakers.

The other man was last seen wearing Black pants and a black long sleeve shirt.

Police are seeking CCTV, dashcam or other information that may assist investigations in relation to the incident.
