Police seek information on Absconder in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are seeking public assistance to locate an Alice Springs Correctional Centre prisoner who absconded from the facility in Alice Springs today.

Scotty Lock absconded from the low security work site at about 11:20am this morning.

Mr Lock is described as Aboriginal, aged 48 with a medium build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt/ jumper, beige long pants, soft cloth brim hat and runners.

The man is not considered a risk to public safety; however, police ask if anyone sees him to not approach but instead contact police.

If anyone sees him or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
