Police Seek Information On Aggravated Robbery In Darwin 26 August

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an Aggravated robbery that occurred at Nightcliff last week.

Around 2pm on Friday 23 August 2024, an unknown male attended a shopping centre on Dick Ward Drive, Nightcliff, and stole a quantity of cash following a struggle with a checkout operator.

The male allegedly brandished a knife during the incident, before fleeing on foot towards Dick Ward Drive.

The male was described as of Caucasian appearance, aged between 17 and 22-years-old, wearing a black AC/DC t-shirt, dark blue shorts and a black baseball cap.

Darwin general duties officers and Strike Force Trident members attended the scene and conducted patrols but did not locate the offender.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident are investigating and urge anyone that has information as to the offenders identity, or any other relevant information including CCTV and dash camera footage, to contact 131 444 and quote NTP2400083192.
