Police Seek Information On Assault In Darwin 1 October

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to an assault that occurred in Malak yesterday.

Around 5pm, police received reports that a man was assaulting a woman near a service station on Holzerland Street.

The woman received non-life-threatening injuries.

Casuarina officers attended the scene and a 39-year-old man was later arrested at a separate residential location.

He remains in custody and is expected to be charged later today.

The man and woman are known to one another.

Detectives are urging anyone with information to contact NT Police on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
