Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a man was seriously injured in Casuarina yesterday.
Around 6:45pm, it is believed a 50-year-old man assaulted a taxi driver on Bradshaw Terrace. The driver has then allegedly struck the man, who has fallen backwards and hit his head on the roadway.
The driver left the scene in the taxi while the 50-year-old was later conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital in a serious condition.
Major Crime Detectives are investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference P24243415.
