Police Seek Information On Criminal Damage In Katherine

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an incident at a service station in Katherine.

Around 1:40am, police received reports of two youths entering a service station on Katherine Terrace, one of which allegedly armed with an edged weapon, and threatening a staff member.

The staff member was able to lock themselves inside the store, before the youth allegedly caused property damage and fled the scene.

Police later located and arrested the male youth.

The female remains outstanding.

Investigations are ongoing.
