Police Seek Information On Domestic Violence In Darwin 20 December

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a female was assaulted in Darwin City earlier this week.

Around 10pm on Monday 16 December 2024, the female victim and her children were in a carpark located on the corner of McMinn & Carey Street. The 25-year-old male partner of the victim approached and threatened her. The interaction was interrupted by passing witnesses and the male left the location.

Police have since arrested the male and are continuing to investigate the incident.

Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Morrissey said " Domestic and family violence continues to be a significant concern in the Territory and perpetrators of domestic violence will be held accountable for their actions."
