Police Seek Information On Escape Custody At Nhulunbuy

The Northern Territory Police Force are calling for information in relation to three males who escaped NT Corrections custody in Nhulunbuy overnight.

Around 10:40pm, NT Corrections reported to police that two 30-year-old males had escaped from an NT Corrections facility on Bottlebrush Road sometime after 9pm.

This morning, at around 8:45am, NT Corrections reported to police that a third prisoner, aged 34, had also escaped the facility between 9pm and 11pm on Saturday night.

Additional police resources have been deployed to the area, and investigations are ongoing.

While police do not believe the individuals pose a risk to the general public, members of the community are advised not to approach them.
