Police Seek Information On Grass Fire In Katherine

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after grass fires were allegedly lit in Katherine yesterday.

Around 6:20pm, emergency services received reports of small grass fires along Grevillea Road, Katherine. Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service and general duties officers attended the scene.

Firefighters extinguished the spot fires with no structure damage or injuries reported. .

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in the vicinity Grevillea Road who may have seen suspicious behaviour to make contact on 131 444. Police are particularly interested in CCTV or dash-cam footage.
