Police Seek Information On Sexual Assault In Darwin 26 December

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an alleged sexual assault that occurred in Darwin overnight.

Around 12.05am this morning, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of an alleged sexual assault of a female youth aged between 14-16 years old by a 19-year-old male. The assault allegedly occurred earlier in the evening at a residence in Anula.

The offender is believed to be known to the victim.

Police attended the residence, and a crime scene was declared. The offender remains outstanding.
