Police Seek Information On Unlawful Entry In Katherine 9 August

Northern Territory Police are calling for information concerning an unlawful entry at a business complex in Katherine on Wednesday 7 August 2024.

Around 12am, a number of allegedly armed persons gained access to the roof of a business complex on First Street, where they have allegedly broken a glass window and unlawfully entered the complex. Once inside, it is alleged the offenders have accessed multiple different business where over a two-hour period, the offenders have entered and damaged several office spaces before departing the location at approximately 2am.

Superintendent Virginia Read said, "Northern Territory Police treats these offences very seriously and are appalled at the damage that has been caused to our local businesses.

"Strike Force Cerberus members will continue to work tirelessly to bring these offenders to justice and curb this type of offending."
