Police have released CCTV vision and are appealing for public assistance over an alleged arson in Sydney's west in August this year.
About 11pm on Friday (23 August 2024), emergency services were called to Fermoy Road, Marsden Park, following reports of a suspicious fire.
On arrival, officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command located a shed well alight.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire a short time after their arrival.
There were no reports of injuries.
Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
Initial inquiries alleged a man was at the premises a short time before the fire ignited.
As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to a man who they believe might be able to assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of slim build, and has a beard, last seen wearing a blue shirt, light coloured pants, and a blue baseball cap.
It is believed he was riding a e-scooter.
