Police Seek Information: Robbery With Violence At Darra

Police are appealing for public assistance following a robbery with violence in Darra, yesterday, July 15.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 6.30am, a woman in her 70s was walking along Pannard Street when she was approached by an unknown man.

He has then pushed the woman to the ground and stolen her handbag, which contained personal items.

The man then left the scene in a white vehicle that headed north towards Monier Road.

He is described as having a thin build, wearing a light-coloured hoodie-style jumper and light-coloured long pants.

The woman was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone with vision of the area during this time, including dashcam footage, or anyone with information that could assist with investigations, is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
