Police Seek Information: Robbery With Violence, Eagleby

Police are appealing for information after a 31-year-old man was seriously assaulted during a robbery in Eagleby earlier this morning.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 1.30am, four men entered a residence on Tarlo Street where the occupant, a 31-year-old man, was sleeping.

The men threatened the occupant and demanded money, before assaulting him and stealing personal items.

The group fled the scene on foot.

The man sustained head and neck injuries and was transported to Logan Hospital for treatment.

Investigators believe it was a targeted attack and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.

Anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage of the area around this time, is urged to contact police.
