Police Seek Information: Wounding At Caboolture

Detectives from Caboolture Child Protection and Investigation Unit are investigating following an alleged wounding in Caboolture on December 6.

Around 8.30pm, police attended a car park near the intersection of King Street and Bellmere Road following reports of an altercation involving multiple people.

Upon arrival, police located a 14-year-old boy with wounds to his upper body.

He was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 13-year-old Gympie boy has been charged with one count each of wounding and stealing.

It will be alleged the two boys were known to each other.

He is due to reappear before Caboolture Magistrates Court today, December 12.

Investigations are continuing as police believe there may be further people involved.

Police are appealing to anyone with information, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the area, to come forward.
