Police Seek Information: Wounding, Surfers Paradise

Detectives from the Gold Coast District Criminal Investigation Branch have released images of two people who may be able to assist with investigations after two men were wounded in Surfers Paradise this morning, October 5.

Emergency services were initially called to Remembrance Drive at approximately 6.15am following reports a 20-year-old man had sustained a wound to the stomach.

Upon arrival, police located two 20-year-old Toowoomba men with stab wounds.

Both were transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment, where one remains in a serious but stable condition.

Police have spoken to multiple people at scene; however, no charges in relation to the wounding incident have been laid.

Gold Coast detectives are appealing to anyone who recognises the two people, pictured, to immediately come forward.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant information are urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
