Yarra Crime Investigation Unit detectives are seeking public assistance as part of their investigation into the disappearance of missing woman Farzana Ahad.
Farzana was reported missing by her sister on 2 May 2022 and hasn't been seen or spoken to since.
It is understood Farzana was last sighted in the Southbank area in 2019 and her last contact with police was in August 2020 in Fitzroy Gardens.
Farzana was born in Bangladesh and moved to Australia in 2005 and has since lived in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
She is described as having olive skin, about 160cm tall, with a medium build and dark hair.
Farzana also has distinctive tattoos including a Zodiac, rose and a butterfly on her back along with a Hindu symbol on her upper left arm.
It is believed Farzana does not have access to a vehicle and her bank accounts have not been used since her disappearance.
Investigators have released images of Farzana in the hopes that someone may have information on her whereabouts.
