Police Seek Leads in Lidcombe Sexual Assault

Police are appealing for public assistance following an alleged sexual touching that occurred at a train station last month.

Officers attached to Police Transport Command attended Lidcombe Railway Station about 3pm on Friday 6 September 2024 following reports of an alleged sexual touching.

Police were told a 14-year-old girl was allegedly sexually touched by an unknown man at the train station earlier that afternoon.

As inquiries are ongoing, police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man is described as being Asian in appearance, aged about 50 to 60, with black hair.

He was wearing a green jacket, grey track pants and white shoes at the time.
