Police are appealing for public assistance after a man was hit by a car in south of Lismore this morning.
Just after 3.20am today (Saturday 18 January 2025), emergency services were called to the Bruxner Highway at Loftville, about 5km south of Lismore CBD, after a man was found injured.
The 33-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The man has told officers attached to Richmond Police District he was hit by a white sedan which continued south along the Bruxner Highway without stopping.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident has commenced.
