Police are appealing for public assistance after they found an elderly woman in Sydney's Inner West.
About 12.30pm today (Friday 7 March 2025, officers from Georges River Highway Patrol were waved down by members of the public near Cabarita Park, Cabarita, in relation to a woman being found and appeared to be confused.
The woman, who is believed to be aged in her 80s, does not speak English and is of Korean background.
Police have not had any recent reports of missing persons in the area.
As inquiries continue into locating a next of kin for the woman, police have released an image of the woman in the hope some recognises her.
She is described as being of East Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, approximately 81 years old, of medium build, short brown hair, brown coloured eyes, wearing a maroon-coloured long sleeved floral shirt, blue pants and white shoes.
