Police Seek Missing Child in Murray River District

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing boy from the state's south.

Alikai Kennedy, aged 11, was last seen at Lavington about 8.30pm last Friday (23 August 2024).

When he was unable to be located or contacted, he was reported missing yesterday (Thursday 29 August 2024) to officers attached to Murray River Police District, who commenced inquiries to locate him.

There are serious concerns for Alikai's welfare due to his young age.

Alikai is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, thin build, 145cm and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue beanie, black hooded jumper and grey shorts,

Alikai is known to frequent the Lavington and Albury areas.

Anyone with information into Alikai's whereabouts is urged to contact Albury Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
