Police Seek Missing Elderly Man From Burwood

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Burwood.

Antonio De Sousa, aged 80, was last seen on Claremont Road, Burwood Heights about 11am today (Saturday 12 October 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Antonio's welfare as he lives with Dementia.

Antonio is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 160cm tall, with a thin build, and grey/white hair.

He wears black-framed glasses and was last seen wearing a lime green long-sleeved jumper.

Antonio has been known to frequent the Enfield, Belmore and Roselands areas.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Burwood Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
