Police are appealing for assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's south.
Dimitrios Chalkiotis, aged 85, was last seen at a bus stop on West Botany and Bestic Street in Rockdale about 9am today (Saturday 19 April 2025).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were contacted and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.
Dimitrios is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 170cm to 175cm tall, of medium build and with grey hair and a grey moustache.
He was last seen wearing a black bomber jacket with a navy polo underneath, navy pants and black shoes.
Dimitrios is believed to have boarded bus 422 from Rockdale to Kogarah and is believed to be in the Kogarah or Carlton area.
