Police Seek Missing Elderly Woman From Sutherland

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman missing from Sydney's south.

Lorraine Bell, aged 79, was last seen on Mitchell Road, Jannali, about 6.30am today (Tuesday 15 October 2024).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with dementia.

Lorraine is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, of slim build, with light brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing navy blue pyjamas with a pink floral pattern and a jumper.

Lorraine is known to frequent the Jannali and Sutherland area.
