Police Seek Missing Elderly Woman from Crookwell

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman missing from southern NSW.

Janet Winters, aged 87, was last seen at a hospital in Crookwell, about 11pm yesterday (Thursday 24 October 2024).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to The Hume Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Janet's welfare due to her living with multiple conditions that require medical treatment.

Janet is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, with white hair and blues eyes.

She was last seen wearing a grey jumper, a hospital gown, no shoes and carrying a white blanket.

Police believe Janet is still in the Crookwell area.
