Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's north.
Xizhen Sun, aged, 82, was last seen about 11.30am today (Sunday 5 January 2025).
Family members have told police she goes on a daily walk around Mark Taylor Oval at Waitara, near the intersection of Edgeworth David Avenue and Park Avenue.
When she could not be located, officers attached to Kuring Gai Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold serious concerns for Xizhen's welfare due to her age and the prevailing weather conditions.
Xizhen is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall with medium build and short black hair and brown-coloured eyes.
She was wearing a blue-checked long sleeve shirt, dark coloured pants and a light blue sunhat.
