Police Seek Missing Illawarra Woman

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Illawarra region.

Jamie Morrissey, aged 29, was last seen at a home on Henry Street, Tarrawanna – about 6km north of Wollongong – about 12pm yesterday (Saturday 17 August 2024).

When she could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare.

Jamie is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a fair complexion, of medium build, about 175cm tall, and with black hair.

She may be in the Prestons and Liverpool areas and may be driving a black Toyota Corolla with registration 'BBZ71Q'.

Anyone with information on Jamie's whereabouts is urged to call Wollongong Police District or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
