Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing teenage girl from Port Macquarie.
Shantana Cowen, aged 14, was last seen at a motel on Clarence Street, Port Macquarie on Sunday (1 September 2024).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare due to her age.
She is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 160cm tall, with a thin build, and brown hair.
She was last seen wearing a hooded jumper and tan coloured pants.
Shantana is known to frequent Wauchope and Port Macquarie areas.
