Police Seek Missing Teen Girls in Merrylands

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two teenage girls missing from Sydney's south west.

Fatema and Tasnim Kassem, aged 14 and 12, were last seen in Merrylands at about 10pm last night (Friday 1 November 2024).

When they could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate them.

Fatema is described as Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 170cm to 175cm tall, with brown eyes and brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a brown track suit.

Tasnim is described as being Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 160cm to 170cm tall, with a thin build and brown hair.

She was last seen wearing black pants and a black top.

They are known to frequent the Merrylands, Strathfield, Auburn and Granville areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact Cumberland Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
