Police Seek Missing Teen in Blue Mountains

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenager missing from the Blue Mountains.

Maxwell Oswald, aged 14, was last seen in Lapstone about 7.30pm yesterday (Friday 11 October 2024).

He is believed to have been in Rooty Hill shortly after; however, he has not been seen since.

When Maxwell failed to return home and could not be located, officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Maxwell's welfare due to his age.

Maxwell is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build, with a fair complexion and short brown hair.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call Blue Mountains Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
