Police Seek Missing Teenage Girl in Sydney's North

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's north.

Kaya Paterson, aged 16, was last seen at Epping train station about 7.20am on Monday 18 November 2024.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for her safety due to her young age.

Kaya is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm, with thin build, brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a navy hooded jumper, white t-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

Kaya is known to frequent the Central train station, as well as Hornsby and Ryde train stations.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact Northern Beaches Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
